WD Mybook Live NAS as VMFS5 datastore

Due to tight schedule, I've got the IBM blade center servers
arriving on time but the SAN HDDs will take 5-6 weeks more
to arrive.

So I thought of setting up a Western Digital NAS to host the
VMs so that the apps team can start working on them &
when the SAN HDDs arrive, will just vMotion the datastore
over from NAS to the SAN LUNs.

Anyone has any idea how to set up the WD NAS Mybook Live
2TB?  Should it be presented as NFS (& does Mybook Live
has this feature to serve as NFS) or just as Windows share?

So far, I only know how to set up Mybook Live as Windows
share (it's probably Tcp445 or Netbios).

Need to present the NAS to the ESXi hosts for them to
format as VMFS5 (as the ultimate SAN HDDs will be
VMFS5 )

I thought of mapping a Win 7 (64 bit laptop) to the NAS or USB.

Can this Win 7 laptop offer NFS share of the NAS or USB HDD ?
