Not really,
i need it to work with SAHREPOINT ONLINE, not the regular SharePoint server
Hi,
AFAIK it would not be possible to get the OOTB version information from SharePoint.
Sorry,
but i didnt follow you trough
what is : AFAIK and OOTB
First, the link in comment 38972747 is relevant. The code posted there is VBA and runs in your Excel file. What flavour of SharePoint hosting you are using is not relevant.

AFAIK = As Far As I Kow
OOTB = Out of the Box.
in excel 2010 i can see the properties from my sahrepoint in the info tab in the right hand side
now the qeustion is how to display those in an excel cell in one of the sheets ?
is there a  OOTB function for this ?
afaik == as far as i know
ootb == out of the box
