Email Description vs. Actual Email Address

Hi

Say,

We often need to extract the email address from the outlook or live mail - however these are shown as a description rather than an email address. What is the simplest way to get to the actual email address without multiple mouse taps??

Thank You

Okay have to ask this, what version of Outlook are you using?

I know in 2010 you can double click it and you see the email address info.  But I know what you mean with regards to it being a little annoying at times.

Its 2010 and windows live mail.
:)
Now whilst I found some nice stuff here;

http://email.about.com/od/livemaildesktoptips/Windows_Live_Mail_desktop_Tips_Tricks_and_Secrets.htm

None of them help.

So I had to assume that it works like Outlook/Exchange as in essence its a cut down version.

Outlook says it will display an email address as a name should a user be listed in the local contacts (inc Nk2) or server GAL (Added Contacts).  If they do not appear in either it will display the name generated by the remote server along with the email address.

Bit fluffy in its wording but it makes sense.
Its a standalone pst by the way...
.
I don't find that it actually even picks up the contacts by email address unless I've already used it...
Also battle to actually find the contacts as so many contact folders that come standard with it... and confusing...
Any ideas on

Please help. Looking to close this Q soon.
Thank you for your patience.
