MYOB not working fully across the network.
Hi there,
We have a fully up-to-date copy of MYOB EXO Employer Services payroll software installed on a Windows 2003 Server. Using it directly on the server works perfectly.
But if you try and run it from a client it just stalls at an important point - see attachment.
Doesn't matter what machine or account you use you get the same problem - it just sits and thinks forever.
If you copy the program folder from the server to the local machine it works fine there too.
I'm willing to be generous and say our network is the problem and not MYOB, even though we have similar applications running just fine... THe thing is it did work OK until the MYOB upgrades or possibly a windows update. .
The clients seemed to install correctly using the netowrk.exe myob file. Although looking at the logs there appears to be some dll registration errors.
Any ideas please? Maybe someone has had this problem before - is anyone still using MYOB?
Cheers, Ryan.

Thanks for the reply. Fairly sure it's not a hardware problem as other software does not exhibit any similar problems. But will keep this in mind, cheers.
