which one should I download as downloaded many but I cannot see wireless icon on my laptop
please advice
Open the cover to the wireless adapter so you can see which model is inside your PC, then download the driver for that model. Also make sure that you have installed the chipset driver before installing any other drivers, and rebooting the PC after the chipset. That is the most important driver and many other components need it working properly in order to get those others working. Also make sure that you have enabled the wireless via the button or hot key combination on your PC.
can I have a direct link to download the wifi driver as I can see many wifi drivers in the link provided
That laptop model comes with several different models of wireless cards. For that you have to open the cover to the wireless card so you can see which one is yours, or check the underside of the laptop, sometimes the card type is printed there, or check the invoice for the laptop, sometimes the components used are also listed there.
if you want an easy way , use slimdrivers to find it; fast and free :

Why did you accept that comment? I posted the Link to the HP site too, but was first, and apart from that I gave some more info on how to find out which WLAN adaptor you have?

At EE the first correct answers should be accepted, and not others that came later (although this one only came a few minutes later), or you should at least have done a split.
I think LeeTutor's original closing disposition would have been fine.
looks i'm left out now...2 same suggestions got the cigar
