WSUS "not yet reported" clients

I recently got asked to fix a WSUS environment that is successfully updating all of the clients although 99% of the clients are not updating their status in the console.  The logs look good and the clients seem to think they are good to go.  I can check gpresults and rsop.msc results to see 100% the updates are coming from the wsus server but none of the usual tricks to get a client to report are working for this server.  Any ideas?

Basic stuff I tried that didn't work are all included in this batch file.
%Windir%\system32\net.exe stop bits
%Windir%\system32\net.exe stop wuauserv
%Windir%\system32\net.exe stop cryptsvc
reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /v SusClientId /f
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v LastWaitTimeout /f
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v DetectionStartTime /f
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v NextDetectionTime /f
del %WINDIR%\WindowsUpdate.log /S /Q
rd /s /q %windir%\softwareDistribution
%Windir%\system32\net.exe start cryptsvc
%Windir%\system32\net.exe start bits
%Windir%\system32\net.exe start wuauserv

sc sdset wuauserv D:(A;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;SY)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;BA)(A;;CCLCSWLOCRRC;;;AU)(A;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;PU)

sc sdset bits D:(A;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;SY)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;BA)(A;;CCLCSWLOCRRC;;;AU)(A;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;PU)

Have you checked to see if the WSUS Settings in GPO are pointing to the correct HTTP path of the wsus server. It could be a simple typo causing the lack of reporting.
