Sugessions to bulid a new window print server and required prerequisites.

Hi

We are using windows 2008R2 active directory in our domain and the clients are  XP and  Windows 7. At the moment we have a old a printserver and a print management software installed onto this server , which is not great.

Now we are going to go with a different print management company. In this process  I am going to install a new  windows 2008 print server and a different print management software on this server.

We have Misrosoft EES in place so licencing is not a problem.

Firstly Please suggest me which version of windows do i need to install. Is it good to install
Window Server Standard 2008R2 with SP1 or Window Server Standard 2008R2 with SP2.

Secondly please suggest all the prerequisites  that i need to install on a window print server.

Thanks
