not able to see attachment when message is being forward from iPad

I there a know issues when forwarding message (exchange hosted account) with attchament. The attachment does not come through just the message? We are using iPad.

Does it work normally if so you have to check with your vendor if there is some 3rd party or rule set to strip attachments if working with Ipad\Phones as we have In-house and dont have any such issues

I check with Rackspace and they are not stripping attachment. The specific attachment file is pdf, don't know if that makes a difference.
