HELP !! Identity Federation AD DS, AD LDS, FIM 2010 and AD FS

Dear All,

I have project comming on and i'm kind of struggling on how to implement the best solution that will fit.
In my company we have an intranet (Drupal) hosted on a linux server. I need to make this intranet site accessible from differents domains ( we have a multiple forest environment)
- So i was thinking of implementing  AD FS as a potential solution

One of the constraint is that Drupal can only talk to one domain and not multiple domains.
- so i was thinking of implementing  AD LDS as a potential solution to consolidate data from different directories.

The data source comes from multiple Forest and in order to provision AD LDS from AD DS to AD LDS i was thinking of Forfront Identity Managemment (FIM 2010).

The big issue is how to put these tree together ? Do i really need ADFS ?
Deos any one has experience or some link to step by step guide on how to implement these 3 Technologies ?

Thank you !
