Setting all outgoing messages to Highest priority.

I have been trying to figure out how to set all outgoing messages to Highest priority as the default in Thunderbird. I know I can set a filter for an individual, but how do you set it for all messages and all sent addresses?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not aware of any way to change the default setting; I don't see anything referring to Priority in any of TB's advanced settings. Psychologically, too, I think if you send every message as "Highest Priority," you're going to be seen as the boy who cried wolf.

That said, it might be a bit easier for you to set the priority if you add the priority setting to the toolbar for a new message. To do that, create a new message, right-click on the Composition Toolbar (the line that starts with the Send button), and choose Customize. Drag the Priority dropdown box to the toolbar, and then it'll be immediately accessible (and the setting always visible) for every new message.

Thanks, ElrondCT,

The priority drop down box is already part of the toolbar. The reason for wanting it to be the default is that messages sent from that particular address are in fact all High Priority.

That sounds like a solution that will work. I'll give it a try.
