File Search
When I bring up Windows Explorer, and enter some pretty simple search criteria such as the word "Plan", or *.XLS, it doesn't search on any of the folders. I get a "no items match your search". I have to be doing something wrong or have something turned off that needs to be turned on.
Any ideas?

I clicked Start, searched for "Run", typed in Services.msx, but it didn't find Services.msx.
I'm running Windows7 if that makes a difference.

Too funny! OK....got it. Yes, it's Started (Delay Start); I've changed it to Auto Start. But it doesn't seem to make a difference.......

wow.... #1 worked! It's a little slow but it does work.
Will it auto start in the future or do I have to set something?
Much thanks!

It will auto start on every boot. If not, then we have a much larger issue with Windows Services.
Glad to hear that it is working for you.
Have a great day!!

Press Enter
Scroll through the list of Services and make sure that Windows Search says STARTED. If not right click on it and select Start.
Let me know the result.
