PRINT SPOOLER WILL NOT START

I tried installing an HP printer on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit workstation, the setup failed because the Print Spooler services was not running. It's set at Automatic but not running, when I tried to run it I got the following error:

"Windows could not start the Print Spooler on Local Computer."
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely
          fashion.

Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

Thank you!

Wow thanks! I unchecked Allow service to interact with desktop and hit Apply, the service started up and I was able to print.
vrosas_03--Glad to hear the good news.
