Teaming and Load Balancing Policies of vSphere5

I would like to understand the entire concepts about NIC teaming and Load Balancing policies of a vSwitch. I do know the concepts but I would like to  know the  which policy is best used under which scenarions? Could anyone help me in understanding this better with good examples? or Could any one give me good documentation with examples? Thanks

It really depends on what physical switches and the configuration of the physical switches you have.

Would it be possible for you to upload screen shot of your current vswitch and NIC configuration allow with what types of physical switches you are using so we can better advise you on your specific situation
