May be i didnt explain properly.
i m not a expert, I m using exchange 2007, i need to configure email in BBz10 using the exchange active sync option. could you explain step by step where i can find the servername in exchange console.
i have used https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com to check with active sync work, but it gives me below error;
Attempting the Autodiscover and Exchange ActiveSync test (if requested).
Testing of Autodiscover for Exchange ActiveSync failed.
Test Steps
Attempting each method of contacting the Autodiscover service.
The Autodiscover service couldn't be contacted successfully by any method.
Is there something that is not configured in exchange for active sync , by default i THINK it is configured to used driectly.
i used http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to check if port is open and it is open.

ServerName is the Exchange Server .... if you dont know open EMC and expand Server Configuration and click on CAS to see the ServerName .... for ActiveSync to work you need to have SSL certs on the Exchange and then also configure Autodiscover if you havent

Thank you for the details, CAS means client access right and SSL certs i have for the server are they different for the exchange. and where and how do i configure autodiscover.
ASKER
It is important to enable unified messaging also.
Yes CAS means ClientAccessServer role holder :)
No need for Unified messaging if you arent using it .... not necessary and has nothing to do with ActiveSync
