I have a web server (let's say xyz.com) running Redhat Linux. For testing purposes, I cloned that server and named the cloned server to dev.xyz.com
dev.xyz.com has it's own ip address and i can ping outside network. When I put dev.xyz.com is a browser it doesn't work (display web page), whereas putting xyz.com in a browser displays web page.
Is there anything I need to do so new address dev.xyz.com works?
Also, When I put ip address of dev.xyz in a browser (on office network), I get web page displayed just fine but when I type the ip address in a browser from outside network, I don't get the web page.
Thanks for your help!

The ip address of dev.xyz.com starts with 132.
I contacted networking team and they created a DNS record to dev.xyz.com. However, I still cannot go to dev.xyz.com from outside network. Once I am connected to VPN, it work.
