Blackberry Synchronization

I have a Blackberry Bold 9650.  I am running the Blackberry Desktop software (version 6) on my Windows 7 computer.  Everything's been fine until suddenly, during synchronization, I get the attached error message that the synchronization failed.  There is no hint of any solution, or any explanation as to why it failed or what I should do.  I've tried restarting the program to no avail.  Any ideas?

I would say try upgrading the device or take a backup and wipe and reset the device and start fresh if all possible

Thanks for the advice.  The device is pretty new, but wiping and resetting the device makes a lot of sense.  Do you know how to do that?

try updating the Desktop Manager software, v6.0 is pretty old now, as long as you don't have a Z10, you can install v7.1 from here:
