Group Policy Error "You may not have appropriate rights" "Network Path was not found"
I have a freshly installed Windows 7 Ultimate connected to a Domain. The DCs are 2008R2.
The connection to the domain went without error, however when I try to use GP Editor to connect to the Windows 7 box I am receiving an error:
Failed to open the Group Policy Object on <FQDN>. You may not have appropriate rights.
Details: The network path was not found.
I can see the box through AD and connect to it using RDP.
Any help would be appreciated.
I built a 2008R2 server using the same process and not having the problem.
