Polarizer film scratched when replacing ccfl bulb in my laptop
Hi. I just replaced my laptops CCFL bulb (dv9000 series laptop) and noticed some marks in the LCD when I look at the screen from an angle. I took it apart again and it appears all the small marks that I see are on the polarizer film. They arent too bad but was wondering if there is any way to make them less viewable?
. I tried to buff it out hoping it was a fingerprint, but it appears to be a scratch. I did notice some scratches even before the ccfl died, but it looks like I may have a few new ones now.
They are not too bad, usually they can only be seen if the screen is turned at an angle and a light color is showing.
But any way to fix it or reduce the appearance?
