folder size in windows2008

I am trying to get folder size in windows2008 users home folder,
I did user dir /s c:\test.txt
it is listing listing all the filders and file in 100 and 100 pages.
is there any comand which i can use to find size of the folder if it reaced a limit
for an example i want to list if someone go more than 50M

I suggest you use TreeSize (Jam Software). This will list your folders and allow you to sort by size (and any other variable). I have TreeSize myself and it is very useful. It comes in a trial version for you to see if it fits your circumstances. It is much better than a command line method.

I would suggest you look at the File Server Resource Manager - it should be an administrative tool and it is designed to give you a variety of reports and capabilities... far more than TreeSize or WinDirStat.

@pdsmicro  - Tree Size was suggested in an earlier post than the later one you selected.
