Unable to delete disconnected mailbox

We had issues with a Database drive constrains so we had to Move mailboxes to another Database on a different drive, we saw that there were some disconnected accounts with no data and even wouldnt allow deletion, i did find an article with the same reference for Exchange 2003 with some hotfix we applied and restarted still they remain and dont allow deletion. We then had the older database Offline Defrag and Isinteg, we still have those mailbox and i need to remove so what is the best way

Dismount and mount the db again and run clean up agent.
