Server 2008 R2 and 4TB Hard Drives
Hello All!
We have a new server we are configuring with server 2008R2 Enterprise, and 2x4TB hard drived in RAID1 arrangement on a Adapted 2405 RAID Controller.
During the load, server2008R2 ENT sees the 4TB as two separate 2TB Drives, and after we load the OS we cannot get to the other 2TB left from the 4TB drive.
We have read articles and rants on this, has anyone figured a good way to make things work with our type of setup?
Thanks!

Nope. EFI is the mostly the same.
Just be sure when you reinstall the OS you select GPT instead of MBR.

We ended up creating 2 logical drives on the Adapted RAID 2405 controller, and designated the smaller one MBR during the OS load. After the server was up and running, we formatted the other drive GPT to get 3.5GB worth of drive space.
