How to Change internal domain name with exchange and lync
I am planning to change our domain name say from mydomainold.com to mydomainnew.com. There are two domain controllers (one running on windows server 2008 R2 and the other windows server 2012 which holds all the FSMO roles) with an exchange server 2010 and lync 2010 server.
I would appreciate if someone can help out with a step by step guide on how to go about this.

i meant active directory domain. I have read similar posts sent by carolchi and ihasham. I think i would just leave the internal domain as the old one and register the domain for my certificates for external lync and exchange users tio use. Thanks for your help.
Are we talking about Exchange email address (some call it domain) and Lync SIP Address (some call this domain too)
OR are we talking about Active Directory domain?
