Best Wireless Access Point for business

I have just scored a new job working for a BMW dealership in NJ. They need to have wireless access outside the building so that service reps can use their iPads to log lease return info. Currently they are using Netgear home wireless equipment and the range is not working well. I need some recommendations from people who use wireless technology in a business setting. Our building is huge, all glass and steel, which I feel is killing the wireless signal from these home appliances. I have been looking at some Cisco products, that seem ok, but the boss wants to keep the price in check.

We had the same problem with one of our clients and we ended up adding wireless range
extenders on the edge of the wireless router signal and it solved the problem

This is the model we use:

http://www.amazon.com/Netgear-Universal-Range-Extender-WN2500RP/dp/B006V72AHC%3FSubscriptionId%3DAKIAIAA4MWUJXHBYFRNQ%26tag%3Dsquid1285470-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB006V72AHC

Hope that helps

We tried that with a Netgear extender. The router was basically in the same area and once we went outside to check the signal strength it was poor and this was standing outside the window from the range extender. Our problem is getting a good signal outside. We may have to mount a access point outside the building. The only issue there is the weather.

If you don't want to go with Cisco, which would last virtually forever (but cost a lot more)...
For 2.4GHz + 5GHz, check out the EnGenius Dual-Band ENH700EXT
For 2.4GHz only, the Ubiquiti UAP-Outdoor should do.
