Windows 2008 R2 64 bit System Volume Information Keeps growing
On a Windows 2008 R2 server running Exchange 2007, Backup Exec 2012 and Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.2015, we have been running very low in free space on the C partition. About three months ago I found a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager log file that was massive. We corrrected the log maintenance option and free'd up 1/2 of the drive.
Yesterday the C drive was down to 10 gigs again. I uninstalled SEPM and installed it on it's own partition (F). We immediately went back to 20 gigs free. this morning it's down to 14 gigs free.
The System Volume Information folder is currently 239 gigs on a 300 gig partition. What can be done to reduce it's size. It appears to be growning and is not manageable.
