Retrieving emails from specific sender ...

I need to get copies of all the email sent to or received from an specific recipient/sender outside of our organization. We have one Domain Controller (Windows Server 2k3) and Exchange Server 2k7.
When I run the following powershell command:

E:\>get-mailbox -"general mailbox database" | export-mailbox -subjectkeywords "adamsmith@mydomain.com" -targetmailbox "myownmailbox" -targetfolder "exportfolder"

I get back:

Get-mailbox : The operation could not be performed because object 'general mailbox database' could not be found on domain controller XXXXX at line ..........

Could someone help me  with this?

If GeneralMailboxDatabase is a mailbox
get-mailbox "general mailbox database" | export-mailbox -subjectkeywords "adamsmith@mydomain.com" -targetmailbox "myownmailbox" -targetfolder "exportfolder"

If GeneralMailboxDatabase is a MailboxDatabase then its different

Hi Rancy,
Thanks for your answer. In this case General Mailbox Database is a database. How do I get it done in that condition?
