samsung Sf310 Dec jack heating up.

Used 3 different ac adapters.

The tip is getting red hot to the point of melting the dc jack.

Laptop fault NOT ac fault IMO as Ive used 3 different brands

Has there been an Samsung Sf310 recall / nown issue ?

I'd say laptop fault, unless you can plug the AC adapters into your wall and they get hot without being plugged into the laptop.  You say you've tried three different brands of ac adapters.. but the same laptop is the common factor here.  All signs point to faulty wiring in the laptop.

If ac is plugged in minus laptop - normal temp on tip
If into laptop -  gets red hot.

Def laptop issue
