powershell switch results

I'm trying to develop a function that when passed two values will determine
 - if val1 > val2, return "increase"
 -if val2 > val1, return "decrease"
 -if both equal, return "equal".

I thought a switch would be best for this, but I can't figure out how to set it up...

I was really focused on a switch, but that's pretty slick Qlemo.  Thanks!
