Wing FTP Server Software
I purchased a license of the WING FTP Server software.  After two years of my "upgrade protection" expired, I now get a pop-up that pops up every hour reminding me that my upgrade protection has expired.  I have to click cancel as many times as the number of hours since the last time I cleared all of these pop-ups before I can do anything with the software.  So if I have not used the software for 40 hours I have to click cancel 40 times before I can do anything with the software.

The company is doing nothing about this other than saying purchase the upgrade or deal with it.

Any ideas for what my recourse could be for seems like blackmail, and also am looking for suggestions on other FTP server software that provides FTPS and HTTPS support.

I use FileZilla:

It is open source and free of charge, distributed under the GNU GPL. It supports FTP, FTPS, and SFTP, as well as HTTP/1.1, SOCKS5, and FTP Proxy. Great piece of software! Regards, Joe

Thanks.  FileZilla wont work for me as I need to support HTTP and HTTPS natively within the software.

The wikipedia link seems to be a little outdated, but I will check it out.
