stupid xp clock !!!

ok, i have a client with sbs2003 and a xp pc on the network.

the xp is sp3.

The clock is off by 1 hour.  The time is set to adjust for DST

i have tried to run the following command so that it will pull the time from the sbs server.

how here is what i get:

on the server when i run net time:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>net time
Current time at \\MLGSVR1 is 4/4/2013 12:11 PM

however on this xp box when i run net time I get
C:\Documents and Settings\secretary>net time
Current time at \\MLGSVR1 is 4/4/2013 11:11 AM

Local time (GMT-07:00) at \\MLGSVR1 is 4/4/2013 12:11 PM

The command completed successfully.

The time showing on the local xp pc is still showing 11:11 AM.

Correct time is 12:11 PM.

Grrrrrr. at wits end !!!!

Have you confirmed that the Time Zone is set correctly?  If it is, try setting it to something incorrect, save it, then set it back.

Hi Compprobsolv-- yes tried that still no luck

Netballi -- had already tried the w32tm /resync trick and it still shows incorrect time.  as well as the reg adjustment

The server shows:
Local time (GMT-07:00) at \\MLGSVR1 is 4/4/2013 12:11 PM

Your computer has:
Local time (GMT-08:00)  Pacific Time
and is showing 11:11a.  Those two seem consistent to me.

How is the server set in terms of time zone?

the server is set to gmt -8 with allowances for DST.    its in the correct time zone.

on the local pc when i run a net time /querysntp i get

The current SNTP value is: 0.pool.ntp.org 1.pool.ntp.org 2.pool.ntp.org,0x8
