GAL from another Exchange server not in the domain or forest
I need a solution to access the GAL of another Exchange server, which is not part of the domain or forest. I need to access their GAL and they need to access my GAL for name and email address lookup.
Is that possible?

Well you could share free/busy easily using the commands given in the second link.
For GAL Sharing, there isn't an easy way out - you'd need some tool to keep on updating the details across forest.
More manual task is to create contacts for each user of the other forest in your forest, that ways people would see them in GAL - but again that's painstaking work.
