Active Connections on verizon

I have a company that uses a Verizon westel modem. I have an employee that always seems to have a lot of active connections. What is that? Is he downloading a lot of things? Should I be worried?

Depends on what he is connecting to. Some business related activities will use a lot of connections.

Does the employee multitask really well?

He uses auto cad and checks his mail. I suspect he is a gamer and a downloader. I was wondering if he's bringing this stuff to work.
