Hi Experts,

I'm fairly familiar with server hardware, and when I noticed the odd 6th connector on the SFF-8643 cable it made me wonder what it's for?

1 to connect to the RAID card itself, 4 for my SATA drives, and what is the other connector that looks like it should be plugged into a USB header or something?

If you need a reference visit the egg and look up "Adaptec 2280000-R ACK-I-rA-HDmSAS-4SATA-SB-.8M Cable" and you will see what I mean...

Any light shed would be most helpful!

Thank you very much!
