Run Windows and programs from a thumb drive?
Is this doable? I'd like to boot up windows 7 and all the programs I use, including Windows Firewall from a thumb drive. The goal is to have a dual configured computer, one configuration which I can take with me when I leave the laptop unattended. Boot order in bios would control which configuration the laptop would boot to. I've looked at Ceedo a little but have no experience with it, not sure I can put the whole os on it...
The goal is to have a dual configuration controlled by a thumb drive really. Essentially proprietary software and the Windows Firewall configuration have to go with the thumb drive. The OS itself could be on the hdd I suppose.

Depends upon the programs, their number, characteristics, size, portability, etc., and the size of the "thumb" in the "t-drive".
