Dynamic CRM 2011 Workflow will not Start on Imported Records
I have a workflow (with child workflows) on Opportunites that when the custom Phase field is updated, it will udpate the Pipeline Phase field.
This works fine on any records that I create through Dynamic CRM 2011.
The problem is that I have a lot of records to be imported. For all the records that I import, the workflow does not even attempt to start if I go in later & change the Phase field.
It will run if I manually start it on that imported record & update the Pipeline Phase appropriately. Then if I go back & change the Phase on the record again later, it still won't automatically start. I have to manually start it.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Could you share a screenshot of the workflow?

Below is the video I followed to make the workflows:

Thank you for the screenshots - most helpful.
The first thing I want to check is who is performing the imports? I see that the scope for the workflow is set to User. This means that the workflow will only run automatically for opportunities created by the workflow owner.

That seems to be the issue. :)
I am doing the import, but I am not the owner of all the records.
If I change myself to the owner of the record, & then change the custom Phase field, the workflow will run automatically.
What I need is for the workflow to run, no matter who changes the record.
What would I need to change the scope to to make that happen?
