How can I modify 64-bit driver printing preferences on 32-bit computers

Hi everyone

We have a Windows 2008 64-bit server that has a printer installed and shared. Both drivers (64 and 32 bits) are installed.

On the 64-bit server, we set the printing preferences and defaults to black and white only.

When a 32-bit client installs the printer (\\servername\printer), he constantly print in color.
When a 64-bit client installs the printer same way, he defaults to b/w.

So my question is: how to set the printing preferences of my 32-bit driver on a 64-bit server?

Thanks,

martin

I was misinformed by my users. In fact, setting defaults and printing preferences on the 64b drivers did change the 32b drivers settings.

Thanks for your answers. They are both accurate so split points.
