I just got a new insurance carrier and my "old" primary doctor is not within the network of where I'd like to be.  I wanted to know if there's a way to find out where a particular doctor in certain deciplines rates within their realm of specialty.

It is very hard to reliably rate doctors. first, they do not like to be rated. Second there is not an agreed upon rating scale. You can check with your state medical society to find what credentials they have. The following link is one of the more popular rating sites.
