Is there an equivalent to the NK2 file in Outlook Express
Hi all,
Is there an equivalent to the NK2 file in Outlook Express? If so, what is it and where on an XP machine?
thanks

I don't believe that Outlook express had an autocomplete cache file (like the NK2 file in Outlook). You could send emails using the address book, but it did not keep an autocomplete cache, to the best of my recollection.

The .wab file in OE would be the equivalent to NK2. (usually username.wab).
Location in Win XP should be C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\Your Username.wab

gareth629--That is a "solution"? It is not clear how you will use that info. Will you now not use the .wab file?
Perhaps it is my fault for not asking what you wanted an NK2 "equivalent" to do. If you do not use .wab, what will you use?
And did the "solution" provide its location as you requested?
