How do I export to PDF from Gimp?
I have a book cover created in GIMP which I need to export to PDF in order to upload to my book printer. I just realized GIMP has no export!
I need to submit my book cover as a PDF/X1a 2001 or PDF/X3 2002 with fonts embedded.
Can anyone help me find the best free or cheap way to do this? We are running Ubuntu Linux. I've tried Ghostscript, but I'm having trouble getting it to work right.
Thank you,
Kimberly B

Use "Print to File", and there you can select "pdf".

Thank you. I didn't realize my GIMP and my Ubuntu were outdated. Bringing them up to current release provided the feature I needed.
Hi KimberlyB
Please note that in GIMP 2.8, 'Save as' and 'Save' are now only give .xcf files. To 'Save as' ALL other file type, you should use 'Export'...
