MS Project 2013 Pro - Additional Resource Column with multiple select options

Is it possible to add an additional Resource Name column that is independent of the other one?  I'm looking to have two separate Resource Name columns; one for personnel and the other for another list.  I don't want the two separate columns to display the same information.

well, you could (possibly) but the extra column wouldn't be assignments

in other words I don't think you can divide the assignments for display purposes, therefore the extra column would be a new input without system calculations applying to it.

not sure if that's what you are looking for (new input, no system calculations)

mind you I'm not up to MSP 2013 as yet - but somehow I doubt even the new version would do what I think you are asking for.

I'm really just looking to get the same 'selectability' that the resource column lets you have.  I just need multiple selections to show up in the field the way they do now with the resource column.
