Using Java application on the web.

Hello Experts,

Is there a certain way to use Java to on the web?  I would like to create an application that will track financial numbers and run reports and have different user roles to see certain things.

I've been dabbling with Java lately, especially with Android, but I was asked this question and thought I'd ask the experts.

Look into Java Servlets and jsp.  That's how you put Java apps on the web.  Here's a good tutorial site:
