The certificate warning caused that problem.
I used Mac OS X email program   and successfully connected to Exchange server after getting  2 certificate warnings. The connection used  RCP over HTTP which shows that everything is  OK with RCP over HTTP, but it is certificate issue.
Stupid Outlook failed without giving any error.
Microsoft tools for testing RPC/HTTP connectivity is a complete glitch.
Anybody surprise?
