Hello:

What is the name of the stored procedure or "else" runs that updates SY00500 table in the company database with the correct document and batch total count after you change the batch name in the Sales Transaction Entry window?

Hi,

I developed a customization for a client that allows them to move SOP documents from one batch to another.

Based on my research in SOP (and I suspect it is the same for other modules), there is no stored proc that updates the batch totals when a document is moved to a different batch.  It is typically done with an update statement.

Here is the update statement that I run for SOP that updates all SOP batch totals after a document is moved to a different batch:

'Update the batch totals for all sales trx batches
strSQL = "UPDATE SY00500 SET NUMOFTRX = ISNULL((SELECT COUNT(*) FROM SOP10100 WHERE BACHNUMB = SY00500.BACHNUMB), 0), BCHTOTAL = ISNULL((SELECT SUM(DOCAMNT) FROM SOP10100 WHERE BACHNUMB = SY00500.BACHNUMB), 0) WHERE SERIES = 3 AND BCHSOURC = 'Sales Entry'"

Open in new window

Thanks,
