how to recover sbs2008 companyweb from cloud backup after server crash

I have a client that had a complete hardware server failure. Their IT group did not have a proper backup scheme in place.  They are running sbs2008.  I have reloaded sbs and have their users recreated and I have retrieved most of the data.

The only place that I have sharepoint/companyweb info is a cloud backup.  It does not offer a restore routine.

Where does SharePoint store companyweb information – I need to get links back most of all.

What type of backup, image, local file / folder? Did the offsite backup have a SQL plug-in to backup sql databases?

You have to restore the database then associate it with the right permissions and IIS. First off verify you have a database to restore.
