I have a desk lamp with a halogen bulb.
Is an equivalent LED bulb made?
Lamp says:
120v 50w ATT Type JCD or SMALLER BULB
(photo of halogen bulb attached. Bad photo, but good enough)

i agree; the problem is not to make a 50 W Led lamp, but it needs a transformer to reduce the 120 V to the Led voltage, and that cannot be incorporated in such a small bulb (up to now)
what is available is this :  http://www.amazon.com/Base-Bulb-Dacor-Halogen-Replacement/dp/B008RRXN9I
