ADPREP does not run

Hi, a strange problem.
I'm trying to update a domain through adprep.
've copied support folder from 2008 R2 server image just downloaded from MS volume licensing site. By launching adprep /forestprep I receive  no error, but the command does nothing.
2003 x64 - objectVersion 30 (from dsquery), no error in dcdiag and netdiag.
No log from adprep (empty text file).
I'm trying to recover anothe copy of support folder, the only thing that seems not to be ok is language: 2008 R2 is italian, 2003 english. Maybe that?
How can I solve?

Solved: I need to change it-it to en-us the folder with localization (language) file under adprep folder.
