Hi All,

I would like to activate the functionality in our SharePoint 2010, to see information about some Kind of folder history: Who accessed a folder, who updated, last modified etc.

Is there any possibility to enable this function?

which SharePoint edition do you have?
With the server edition there are out-of-the-box features to collect the web statistics.
The last modified/last updated information are the two OOTB columns in each SharePoint list/library.
In general your requirment is a mixture of Web analytics, usage and health reporting and auditing:

But it depends which edition you have because some features are not available in SharePoint foundation.

Hi Rainer,

I have clarified that Topic on my site. I have created a document library and some folders in it.

My manager would like to know when and by whom a specified document inside that library has been opened and/or editied.

Is that possible and how? I saw the function "Information management policy settings" inside the library?!

The given information was quite interesting but was not the solution I'm looking for.
