Android Google Play Install

I have a custom ROM CM10.1-20130411
For some reason Google Play opens and them immediately   closes! No matter what I do. Flushed the ROM a couple of times and whatever else I can think of!

Please assist I cannot install Google Play Store on the phone and therefore cannot download any applications!

if you have custom ROM, then you are rooted probably.
try to install/flash gapps.
Download gapps here:
http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip

then copy .zip to SD card, reboot to recovery mode, install .zip and reboot phone. this could help you
