How do I do a popup that would fit this window?

In the past, when I wanted a pop up window effect, I would simply do a resize of the screen in order to avoid the pop up alerts that happen on some machines.

This URL, however: http://countryshowdown.com/SIR/, needs an honest to goodness pop up without the nav bar etc.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a pop up window script that's more palatable to the Operating Systems that are out there today so you don't get the warning?
