Hi
Testweb is a web site name, webserver is a computer name.
http://webserver means the default site name on the webserver computer, and works because the internal DNS know webserver and if you defined on the IIS config an default site.
But you can also define an alias testweb that point to the webserver IP in the DNS. Now when you type http://testweb, the IE will show http://webserver/testweb if the alias is ok and the testweb is the default site on IIS.

so...all what i need is to creat cname record or A record in the DNS with testweb and the hosting server without any modifications in the website itself ???

As i understand this will work with the default website only but if the the server is hosting more than one site ?? how it can be handeld.

You can do it but you need more network adapters. Then you can have one site for each network card.

can you try on another PC, or clear the cache for this one?
Don't forget to restart the web service after each change.
