I deactivated old DHCP server and stopped and disable sevice on it.Now I want to apply existing range on the new DHCP server (Win 2012)...When I applying  IP addresses from old DHCP on the new one I'm getting errors "specified range either overlaps an existing range or is not valid".How to eliminate that ...??!
Both servers were rebooted and I flushdns and registerdns..

Hi

What is your IP subnet range. Check the start IP and End IP. Start IP should not be the router IP also Broadcast IP can not be added in the end IP

Thanks

Jai-This is not the case it looks like I have to wait when lease will expire for all the clients which have IP address assignment from the older server (I stopped DHCP service and deactivated prior that).Hopefully then I should be able to solve this dilemma...

After lease expired and clients "grabbed" new IP assignments fom new server problem was resolved.
